Storm BBQ & Gear Swap

Get ready for the season and save on hockey gear at our very first Eastend Storm Gear Swap & BBQ! Bring your gently used equipment to trade, or donate, and find the gear you need from our closet. It’s a great way to outfit your player, meet other Storm families, and keep our community spirit strong. All ages and sizes welcome — let’s help each other hit the ice ready to play!

Along with the free Gear Swap, MONTANA’S on Ogilvie will be hosting a free barbecue on site. While you are enjoying your Montana’s burger, take the opportunity to check out our brand new jerseys, compete in the hardest shot competition, purchase some limited edition StormGear to support our Outreach Program and chat with Board members about the upcoming season.

You can also get your old or new-to-you gear cleaned while you are hanging out. Supreme Sports Care will be on-site and they are offering our members a 10% discount on their equipment cleaning services during this event. Check out their website for how it works: https://www.supremesportscare.ca/

GEAR SWAP INFO:

• Bring in your outgrown, gently used (no holes) equipment to donate.
• Find new-to-you equipment that fits. We have skates, sticks, goalie equipment, hockey bags and everything else you could possibly need to outfit your favourite hockey player from head to toe!
• Board members will be available to help you find the right fit for new equipment.
• There is no charge for any equipment but donations to our Outreach Program are very welcome.
