Respect in Sport (Parents)

As of 2015, all parents with players in the HEO jurisdiction are required to complete the Respect in Sport Parent Program. This is an online course that costs $12.00, and only one parent from each family with new players needs to take it. Once you've completed the course, it's valid for life.

Already Completed the Course?

If you or another parent or guardian in your household has already completed the course, you'll need to link your Respect in Sport profile to any new players in your family. This must be done before the first on-ice session for U7 players and the first game for U9 and older players.

To link a player, follow these steps:

  1. Access the Respect in Sport for Hockey Canada Parents site by clicking HERE.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Click on the Profile/Profil tab at the top of the screen.
  4. Select Child Management/Gestion de l'enfant.
  5. Select Add Child/Ajouter un enfant.
  6. Search for the child or children you want to associate with your profile.

How to Register

If you are a new family and need to take the course, please register for the program by clicking HERE.

Note: This course is for parents only. It is not the same as the Respect in Sport Leader/Coach Program, which is mandatory for volunteers working with a team.
